01: I’d always assumed clarity would come from figuring more things out.
Maybe a better plan, a more well-defined goal or perhaps a better implemented first step. But chatting to Eleanor Cunningham on The Tea Mind Podcast this week reminded me that clarity can be found in a different way…
After years of building a successful business, opening new locations, managing large teams and carrying increasing responsibility, she realised she felt furthest away from herself when she was doing the most.
What brought her back wasn’t another project. It was space.
Space to walk, to notice and to paint again. In that space, she was able to hear what she had been ignoring.
Most of us live so full-steam ahead that there’s little time for stopping to smell the roses. But it’s important to allow time to notice the little things… whether that’s how we’re actually feeling or just something beautiful that catches our eye.
As you’re pausing for tea this week, I invite you to give yourself 10 minutes without a purpose. Maybe talk a walk or sit outside with a cup of tea. No phones allowed. Pay attention to what catches your eye.
Who knows, you might find whatever it is you’ve been looking for.

Thanks for pausing for tea with me today.
If this helped, I’d love a quick comment, a heart, or a share. It genuinely helps this post reach more people who need a calmer next step.
