01: Some answers need time to steep
I’ve been wrestling with a life decision recently... ping ponging back and forth trying to think my way to certainty.
I keep having more conversations, searching for reassurance, rehearsing every possible outcome.
But this constant thinking stopped being useful quite some time ago.
I think clarity is a bit like tea (I would!)... it can’t be rushed. It steeps in its own time.
Often, you’ll know the answer when you stop trying to force a decision.
So if you’re grappling with a decision right now, sit with your tea and ponder what would you choose if you didn’t have to explain it to anyone.
Notice how that feels. Relief can tell you a lot.
And once you’ve made the decision, stop revisiting it. Protect your energy and use it to move forward instead.
Maybe the pause is part of the answer.
p.s. Your pause for tea this week is brought to you by Life's a Peach, a flavoured black tea that combines the robust, full-bodied taste of premium Ceylon tea with a medley of colourful, fragrant blossoms and a hint of peach - discover more teas here.

I still love this classic TED talk, from Andy Puddicombe (co-founder of Headspace). It’s still one of the clearest explanations of creating space between yourself and your thoughts.

Thanks for pausing for tea with me today.
If this helped, I’d love a quick comment, a heart, or a share. It genuinely helps this post reach more people who need a calmer next step.
