01: Some days look productive from the outside.
You’re all over your inbox, you’ve replied to your messages and those pesky admin jobs are being ticked off.
But, at the end of the day, despite being a productivity machine, something important still feels unfinished…
Ignore that feeling at your peril. It’s useful.
It may be showing you that your attention has been spent everywhere except the place that matters most.
Busy work can be comforting.
It’s proof that you’re doing something… But are you doing the thing that would actually move the day forward?
That often requires different energy and a different space.
It might look like a protected hour, a difficult conversation or a messy first draft.
So, before you lose the day to busy work, make a cup of tea.
Hold it for a moment as you let your shoulders drop… then ask yourself:
What one thing would make today feel complete?
Give that thing your full attention while you remember what matters.
What is the one thing that would make today feel complete for you?
p.s. For your pause for tea this week, I recommend Blooming Marvellous (Sencha green leaf is expertly blended with bright mallow and sunflower petals, exquisite rosebuds, sweet vanilla and fresh tangy fruit.) & other teas here.

Thanks for pausing for tea with me today.
