01: Already Enough…
As you pause for tea today, take a few slow breaths and sit with the idea of simplicity for a moment.
Notice how you feel…
What are you working towards right now?
What future event are you waiting for before you feel you’ve reached ‘enough’?
Think back to a time when you reached one of your goals?
How long did it take before you moved the goalposts again?
The sneaky thing is that life is happening in the spaces between the goals.
The moments we’re rushing through on the way to the next thing.
So take a moment to ask yourself:
What’s already enough in my life that I keep overlooking?
Notice where you might be complicating things unnecessarily… what would a simpler version look like?
Then, while you sip the rest of your tea, let yourself simply enjoy this moment.
Really feel what it’s like to feel enough in this moment.
At peace with the fact that there’s always more to do.
Choosing, just for now, to enjoy what is already here.
