Tea Routine: Brew calm with your breath…
When was the last time you truly paused?
Not a scroll-break. Not a to-do list check-in.
A real pause.
One where your shoulders drop, your breath slows, and your mind returns to the present.
Stress and anxiety can sneak into our day without warning.
But so can calm.... if we know where to look for it.
Next time you make a cup of tea, stay with it.
Feel the warmth in your hands. Watch the steam rise.
Then, breathe.
Inhale through your nose for four.
Hold for four.
Exhale for four.
Just a few rounds of conscious breath can shift your entire state.
Inspired by practices like Kundalini Yoga, this small ritual invites clarity and stillness into your day.
Pairing tea with breath turns a simple break into something restorative.
You don’t need a retreat. You need a moment.
Tea. Breath. Presence. That’s enough.
Have you tried this kind of pause before?
Or will you give it a go today?
