01: Made Together…
I’m surrounded by a great team, but being the one in charge can still feel isolating.
The relentless juggling and constant decision-making.
Too busy to celebrate the wins. Too shy to voice the struggles.
So when Helen from Dook in Edinburgh said yes to collaborating on a tea and soap duo, I felt a spark.
We launched Sea Within recently in her awesome Portobello shop.
We served tea mocktails and salt scrubs but what people came for was something deeper: to feel part of something.
The real magic wasn’t in the blend or the soap.
It was in creating something with someone who gets it.
Helen’s energy, passion and vision lifted me.
We didn’t just launch a product. We built momentum.
And little moments of joy.
Sometimes, the best thing you can do for your business (and your sanity) is let someone in.
Who are you going to invite into your space this week?
p.s. today I’m enjoying the special Sea Within herbal infusion to support me to sink into silence.
