01: Don’t feel guilty for keeping hours that work for you
January has taught me that discipline doesn’t have to mean pressure.
These days, I let the day begin quietly - especially when it’s pitch black in the mornings.
I start with tea and my notebook. Then I ask one question:
What three tasks would make today feel like a success?
That bit of clarity shifts everything.
I’ve been doing the hard thing first. Just for an hour or two.
Then I take myself outside. Even for a short walk.
That daylight, movement and space to think helps me come back clearer and more focused.
Some days I work later, but it’s because I choose to.
Sleep is non-negotiable. Everything is harder when I’m tired.
This month reminded me I’m allowed to create my own routine.
I get more done when I pay attention to what actually works for me.
What one thing could you change about your routine?

Thanks for pausing for tea with me today.
If this helped, I’d love a quick comment, a heart, or a share. It genuinely helps this post reach more people who need a calmer next step.
