Tea Routine: drink more water
Water is one of the most vital substances for our health, making up 45-70% of our body. It supports nearly every bodily function, from maintaining energy levels to aiding digestion. Yet, many of us don’t drink enough water to feel and function at our best.
Take a moment to check in with yourself. How do you feel right now? Are you tired, sluggish, or thirsty? You might not be hydrating enough.
Doctors recommend that women aim for 1.5 litres of water a day, and men should target at least 2 litres. This includes not only water but also fluids from tea, coffee, juices, and even the food we eat.
Here are 7 simple ways to drink more water and thrive:
Start the day with two glasses of water.
Sip water instead of snacking.
Drink a glass 30 minutes before meals.
Cold brew your favourite tea for hydration.
Carry a water bottle you love.
Eat water-rich foods like cucumber and melon.
Drink more tea – it contributes 40% of Britain’s daily fluid intake.
By staying hydrated, you’ll feel more energised, focused, and ready to thrive.
Try cold brewing your favourite tea for a tasty way to stay hydrated. Simply put 2 tsps of tea into an infuser/paper filter and brew for at least 3 hours (overnight is great) in 500ml of cold water.
